Stamped Baby Shower Favor & Note Card

I found some cute little die-cut boxes at the dollar store and put together a quick baby shower party favor with a coordinating card. You could also stamp a bunch of the cards as Thank You cards as a gift for the mom-to-be.

These stamps, however, are on the discontinued list and are only available through tomorrow (Friday, June 26, 2009), but the Toodle Loo paper collection will still be available as it will be in the new catalog that is being unveiled at the The Angel Company Seminar as I type this blog entry! You will also find all the Baby Themed Rubber Stamps at my TAC e-commerce site.

I used my Scor Pal to create the embossed lines of the card and my Cuttlebug for the bottom piece with the embossed dots.

The colors in my photo are a bit off (the ribbon isn't really that dark). Here is a thumbnail of the Toodle Loo paper collection with the coordinating cardstock and ribbon. It is a much better representation of the actual colors. It is such nice paper that I only have scraps left...which is all you need for this project!

Coordinating Ribbon: Toodle Loo Ribbon

Free Paper Dolls Template

These paper dolls were created by Melanie Montes de Oca and are featured on Mischelle's Savvy Projects Blog. Melanie even used on of The Angel Company clamshell boxes to create a storage box for the paper dolls. (The link for the free paper doll printable is at the end of this post.)

Here are a couple of suggestions to try:
  • Print the doll's clothes onto your favorite TAC™ Cardstock Paper Collection. Just cut down any collection to 8 1/2 x 11 and feed it into your printer.
  • Embellish the dolls with buttons, brads, flowers and more!
  • Use Skintone Color Pencils to create a variety of dolls.

Toodle Loo Baby Book

I've been looking through my bin of things that I've purchased with intentions of creating something from it some day. Well...today is "some day." I've just finished making this baby book from a Sesame Street board book from the dollar store (they came two in a package so I may create another one with a different theme).
There is actually no stamping at all in this book. I used The Angel Company Toodle Loo Paper with coordinating, cardstock, ribbon, and hardware. I also rummaged through my scrapbooking supplies for the buttons, sayings, and additional embellishments.

If you click on the image, you will be directed to another page with a slide show so you can see the whole book.

Supplies:

Toodle Loo Soar With it Paper Collection
Toodle Loo Cardstock
Toodle Loo Ribbon
Toodle Loo Hardware
4x4 board book (or board books sold here)
misc. embellishments
